Privacy Policy

Zenny (the “App”) is a personal budgeting app for iPhone (iOS) designed with privacy by default. The App is not available for iPad/iPadOS. This policy explains what information is processed, for what purposes, and the choices you have. It is intended to meet Apple App Store Review Guidelines and industry best practices.

• Budget data (on-device): transactions, amounts, dates, categories, recurring payment details, and app preferences are stored locally on your device.
• Optional iCloud sync (if enabled in the App): your data may be stored and synchronized through Apple iCloud services under Apple’s terms and your iCloud settings.
• Diagnostics: anonymous, aggregate diagnostics from Apple (e.g., crash logs) may be used to improve stability and performance. We do not collect personally identifiable analytics.
• Speech recognition (if used in-app): voice input is processed by Apple frameworks on-device or by Apple services per Apple policies.
• Notifications and widgets: any preferences and content displayed are managed on-device and via Apple frameworks.

• Provide core budgeting features and display your data in charts and summaries.
• Enable recurring payment tracking and reminders (if you allow notifications).
• Improve reliability and performance using anonymous diagnostics.
• Support optional features such as iCloud sync in accordance with Apple’s terms.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your budgeting data with third parties. If you enable iCloud or use Apple frameworks (e.g., Speech, Notifications, Widgets), your data may be processed by Apple in accordance with their terms. If required by law, we may disclose information to comply with legal obligations or lawful requests.

• On-device: your budgeting data remains on your device until you delete it from within the App or uninstall the App.
• iCloud (if enabled): retained per your iCloud settings. You can delete your data via iCloud settings or by disabling sync; consult Apple’s documentation for details.
• Diagnostics: retained according to Apple’s platform policies.

• View, edit, and delete your data directly within the App.
• Control permissions such as Notifications, Speech Recognition, and iCloud in iOS Settings.

We follow platform best practices to help protect your information, including storing data on-device by default and using Apple-provided frameworks. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure; please keep your device software up to date and use device security features (e.g., passcode, Face ID/Touch ID).

Zenny is intended for a general audience. If you are under the age required by your local law to consent to data processing, use the App under the supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or best practices. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated within the App or on this page.
